Black Prince Road wins Surface Design Award

We are delighted to announce that our decorative lighting scheme for London’s Black Prince Road Tunnel was named joint winner at the Surface Design Awards.

The Surface Design Awards recognise examples of progressive design and the use of innovative surfaces in projects in the UK and worldwide.

The 2019 judging panel selected an impressive 43 projects, each entry an exemplary example of creative and innovative use of materials and lighting in both interior and exterior schemes.

The judges, which included Cany Ash and Christophe Egret, described the lighting scheme as “honouring the area of Lambeth” and “architecturally defining the arch, making it feel warm and comfortable”.
