Visitors Enjoy the View as the Battersea Power Station Chimney Experience Opens to the Public

Lift 109 at Battersea Power Station is a one-of-a-kind experience, combining a dynamic audio-visual experience with breathtaking 360-degree views of the London skyline from 109 metres above the ground.

The experience welcomed the public from 15th November 2022, offering guests an immersive exhibition of the building as the 15-square-metre glass elevator travels inside the interior of the power station’s northwest chimney and presents unobscured views of London night and day.

Operated by IMG, this is set to be a prominent London attraction, following the events leader’s previously managed attractions such as Winter Wonderland.

The Chimney Lift experience has been designed by Ralph Appelbaum Associates (RAA) in partnership with Sysco Productions and Squint/Opera. Michael Grubb Studio was appointed to provide the lighting design and delivery through to construction.
